Translate some words in reports such as Spouse, Husband, Wife to Partner. Further translations are easily added in Tools > Language Packs... using Edit... Miscellaneous.

This language pack is intended to be used by anyone who records their data in a language other than English, but may sometimes want to translate it into English. Users will need to add to the translation tables, to translate terms in their own language into English; but the pack should provide at the very least, a good starting-point.

If at any point you need to create a new fact type, you can define a language variant for it, for this language pack, and for any other language packs you have installed. To do this, click 'Fact Types' on the Tools menu, select the new fact type and click Edit. Then click the 'Go To Language Variant' button and select the appropriate language pack.
You can add translations to the 3 translation tables by selecting this language pack and clicking the 'Edit' button in the Language Packs window. If you add a place to the Places translation table, be aware that this table is used, even in same-language rendering (i.e. French-to-French), to help with rendering of correct grammar. A '#' character in front of a place name (in the 'To' column) means that the place should be treated, for grammar purposes, as a plural country. Put a '~' character if the place should be not be treated, for grammar purposes, as a country, state or region.
