This plugin attempts to find likely duplicate Individual Records that may have been entered twice. It does this by comparing the Names and key Events of all selected Individuals and their immediate Relations.
Once the Result Set of candidate duplicates has been produced, it can be reviewed, and any genuine duplicates merged using Edit > Merge/Compare Records….
Any false positive duplicates can be added to a Non-Duplicates list and thus excluded from future searches.
The user options are presented on three tabs:
- Find Duplicates Tab ~ Tries to find duplicate Individuals.
- Omit Non-Duplicates Tab ~ Manages false duplicates.
- Set Preferences Tab ~ Adjusts settings & options.
